Got a question about how we work or how to start outsourcing? We have put together a list of frequently asked questions. No question is too silly, too big, too small or even too dumb.

Before we start, let me explain a couple of the common phases we tend to use:
VA = Virtual Assistant.
Outsourcing = getting the task completed by someone outside of your business, usually by a contractor
What hours will you be available?
Our office hours are 9am – 2.30pm Monday to Friday. We are available outside of these hours on request. We are closed on all NZ public holidays.
What if I need a task completed that you can’t do?
When working with a VA from InDeed We Can Ltd, you have access to our entire team. Your assigned VA will project manage the task and another VA will complete the task for you.
What happens to my unused retainer hours or if I need more hours?
Hours do not roll over to the next month. We will be in touch with you regularly about your hours and how many you left. This allows you to delegate more work when and as required. If you are nearing the upper limit of your hours available, we will be in touch with you to discuss options.
Can you make phone calls on my behalf?
Yes, we can provide outbound calling. We have a dedicated phone with a blocked number that is used when making calls on behalf of clients. We make the calls as your business and provide your clients with a friendly voice following the script provided.
Will you work from my premises?
If you need to cover annual leave or temp office relief and are based in the Franklin region, we can arrange onsite assistance.
What if outsourcing isn’t working for me or I need to reduce my hours?
Our goal is to provide you with the flexibility you require within your business. We understand that sometimes during your quieter months, you may need to reduce your hours or cancel your retainer altogether. We also understand that sometimes outsourcing isn’t the right option for your business and we will work with you to find the best solution moving forward. We do ask for at least 1 month written notice to terminate or reduce hours.
How do I know you are completing the work?
We provide clients with a login to our CMS which allows you to see how we are tracking.
What if my assigned VA is away?
We assign a Project Manager and a VA to all clients. Your Project Manager will ensure a back up VA is trained to cover any time away.
How long will it take you to respond to me?
We do our best to respond to enquiries and work requests within 2 hours of receiving them. If you contact us outside of business hours, we do our best to respond within 24-48 hours if non urgent.
